Lily turned five Oct. 6. Everybody Loves Lily...

My dear friend Gary Stone passed away a little over a year ago. We talked on the phone at least once a day. I miss him dearly. Things happen in my life now and I still think, I can't wait to tell Gary.

At the National Zoo in DC. The sign said don't pet the Giraffes. With the attendant looking on I petted the guy. How's a poor guy gonna resist petting when he is about six inches away from my own big head. Those eyes, I couldn't resist.

Here is a pictureof my motorbike parked in front of the old Chuck Berry house in S.L. In the 50's Chuck lived here with his family, developed his skill and wrote almost all of his classic hits. He still lives in the area. It's not unusual to have a Chuck Berry sighting in S.L. but he is not the kind of guy that one would approach.
